  • Product Information

    Glass Coat is transparent, thin and very resilient with a Si02 matrix. Due to its hydrophobic properties water beads off treated surfaces preventing staining and oxidation.

  • Use

    Glass Coat is suitable for all exterior glass surfaces as well as interior surfaces including bathroom/shower glass.

People working on the maintenance or installation of a large boat or ship's mast, with a cloudy sky in the background.
  • PRODUCT APPLICATION / TOOLS

    Glass Coat – The glass is prepared with a specialist cerium oxide compound. Once the glass is prepared the Glass Coat protection is applied.

    The recommended curing conditions (until water resistant) are:

    • Ambient temperature:      8–12 hours

    • 80 oC:                                Two hours

    • 130 oC – 180C:                  One hour

  • APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

    The initial application should be done by a specially trained CeraShield applicator, crew can then be trained to apply the product themselves.
